The Light Mission Community's mission is:  "Extending family, building community, and expanding the Kingdom of God through service in Christ." This mission community is a Biblical expression of church, that functions outside the walls of traditional church,but inside the local community. The Light MC is made up of small groups of Christians who believe that living and growing in their faith is much more than simply attending a church on Sunday mornings.

Our society has changed dramatically over the last several decades to the point that many people have grown up with no concept of extended family.  People are searching for ways to connect with others and to create "family" type relationships that they have not experienced in their lives.  The Light Mission Community gathers people together of all ages and backgrounds, offering true fellowship and relationship opportunities with others, forming lasting, loving bonds with a community of people they can feel "at home" with.
